Contest: Where in the World is Daniel? (Postcard #7) & a brief vlog

Beth Vogt Contemporary Romance, Fun, Writing 21 Comments

Daniel’s been the traveling man this month — and we only have two more postcards to go before the “Where in the World is Daniel?” contest is over and a winner is selected. So tell me: Where is Daniel today?

Don’t forget to leave your comment below or on my Author Facebook page for chances to win a prize package worth over $100. (Share on Twitter and your FB for extra entries. Be just sure to let me know!):

  • collection of sixteen postcards by wildlife photographer Thomas Mangelson (Remember how Daniel gave Alli a gift of a Thomas Mangelsen photograph, Maroon Bells Daybreak?)
  • a $20 Starbucks gift card (Daniel keeps himself caffeinated while he travels the world!)
  • “Life is Good” water bottle (Daniel’s motto — and he was wearing a “Life is Good” T-shirt in Chapter 1 of WYWH.)
  • a $50 Visa gift card (Always good to have on hand if you’re a traveling man like Daniel.)
  • Heart of Adoption necklace (The same necklace that we gave away at the Debutantes’ Story Soiree.)
  • a signed copy of Wish You Were Here
  • a signed copy of my to-be-released in May 2013 novel, Catch a Falling Star

I won’t “approve” any guesses until the end of the day so that people have a chance to enter their answers.

On Tuesday, y’all guessed it — or at least, most of y’all did: Daniel was in Ireland, kissing the Blarney Stone!

  1. Hi Beth!

We love Beth Vogt! Thanks for the video and thank YOU for allowing us on this journey. I think I’m already a fan, even though I haven’t read any of your books!

You said ‘I’m all about fun in this writing journey’ AMEN! I can’t wait to see what’s next!

The guess today: *sigh* I really have no clue, I’m trying though : Uh, College of Staten Island, New York?

Well, looking foward to seeing some of the guesses. Blessings on your day!

  2. Ps: I’ve seen the cover and the blurb for Catching A Falling Star (on Goodreads). Sounds- and looks- so good.

    Congrats! 🙂

    1. Hi, Ganise — If you’ve seen the cover for Catch a Falling Star, just know that’s not the final cover yet. Howard Books is tweaking it just a bit. Overall, I love the concept!

  3. Very fun, Beth. I enjoyed your vlog. I have to tell you. I must have gotten confused by the comment on Tuesday’s contest that said, “Ignore the ‘Europe’ stamp.” The first place I thought of was the Blarney Stone. 🙂 I thought Daniel had gone somewhere other than Europe. 🙂 So, I missed that one–but I learned about other Kissing Rocks. 🙂 Your creativity amazes me. 🙂

    1. Yikes. My bad. That one shouldn’t have had the “Ignore Europe” comment. Sigh. One of those days. Again.
      Forgive me?

  4. Did Daniel cross the channel over to London today?

Nice vlog – still trying to work up the courage to do one of my own. So far, I have a great (silent) video of me doing my cross-eyed trick so that I could FINALLY see what it looks like to everyone else…..

  5. I think Daniel must still be in the UK–this time taking in the sites and sights of the recent Olympics around the Docklands in London.
