  1. A while back, I was sitting at a red light when I saw an ambulance coming toward the intersection. The light turned green and, of course, I waited. The impatient guy behind me started honking. After the ambulance went by, I went on my way. A few blocks later, the guy pulled up beside me, rolled down his window, and apologized for honking. I was stunned! That bit of courtesy made my day.

  3. I have been gratified and astonished. I think it’s funny(?) when people who have continuously disappointed you are shocked you are astonished when they (finally) do the right thing.
