Happy 4th of July!
Tomorrow I’ll be celebrating with family and friends! I’m thankful for this country — and am especially thankful for the men and women who have served in the armed forces, defending our country’s freedom.
What are you doing on July 4th?
I’m taking off Friday, so I’ll be back on Monday with a week-long, three-part series. See you after the holiday!

And I hope you had a Happy Canada Day too, Jennifer. You kinda had a party at your blog yesterday, didn’t you?
Why, yes I did. It was a rather loud party, but very fun.
Great quote by Thomas Jefferson. I, too, am thankful for every man and woman who has served in our Armed Forces.
We are staying in town, and taking the boys to a nearby ranch that has historical exhibits, costumed characters walking around and reciting historic addresses. They’ll also have carnival games. I think I’m more excited than the kids. 🙂

Sounds like loads of fun. We’re going a bit more low-key … but fun, none-the-less.
Rewriting. Lol! Barbecue around 6ish then fireworks. Happy Birthday, America!

Happy Birthday, America, indeed! And Happy rewriting to you, Pat!
I had actually planned to work in the office on the holiday (I know, boring) because I’ve had so much time off work lately. BUT my sister texted me yesterday asking me to hang out. And, well, I’m a sucker for hang-out requests from family. So I’ll be chilling with her. 🙂
Hey look! I finally made a gravatar! No more shadow-face images. 🙂

🙂 there’s my friend’s face!
Cooking out and watching some fireworks with the family. I’m trying two new-to-me veggie recipes. I’m hoping to expand my picky tastebuds’ view on things.
Have a blast, Beth! Happy 4th of July!
