I love Christmas music! During the month of December, I’m sharing some of my favorite Christmas songs with you. I’ve loved Carol of the Bells since I was a child — and after listening to several versions, I chose the classic version by the Boston Pops Orchestra.

I love “Carol of the Bells”. Always did.
No memories of childhood, and a good thing too, but Elvis’ Christmas music reminds me of my late mother-in-law. She was a huge Elvis fan, and shared his birthday.

I’m thankful we share a love of Carol of the Bells.

Hmm, I really don’t know what my absolute favorite is BUT I am completely biased toward White Christmas…I pretty much only want to hear Bing Crosby sing it. I grew up watching Holiday Inn and White Christmas, so hearing it from anyone else just isn’t the same.

I’ve watched Holiday Inn once already this season, and Christmas in Connecticut (always think of you), and White Christmas twice.
Somewhere sometime as a child I first heard and loved The Holy City–no idea which version. It was a major thrill to be in Jerusalem a few years ago and hear that song played/sung as we approached the Golden City.

You have such fun experiences, Dee!
I’ve always loved Carol of the Bells. Anyone remember the Claymation Christmas Special with Quasimodo conducting it? Another favorite is O Holy Night.

No, I haven’t seen that. I wonder if it’s on YouTube?
