“All people smile in the same language.” Anonymous

It’s Friday.

Just saying those two words is enough to put a smile on a lot of people’s faces.

So tell me … what are you smiling about?

Are you remembering something you did this past week –or someone you got to spend time with?

Or are you looking forward to the weekend because you’ve got big plans? Are you counting the minutes until you see someone or head out to someplace special?

Have a great weekend — and share your smile with others.

  1. Definitely smiling about someone named Beth that I got to spend time with. =)

I’m also smiling this morning because tomorrow two of my boys and their families will be here…that means I’ll have 6 grandlittles, 5yo and under, including two of them less than 6 weeks old, in my heart, home, and arms. My smile is as wide as the ocean!

    1. What’s the saying: Dance like no one is watching …

I love dancing in the kitchen with my husband. Well, I love dancing with him anywhere!
      😉

  2. This morning, I’m smiling about God’s goodness poured over me, and His healing work in my life. My oldest just gave me my first hug for the day, which always brings a big smile to my face. 🙂

  3. Today is my son’s 8th birthday! He’s planned his whole day which includes the pool, Madagascar 3, and Italia for dinner. Tomorrow is his party! Lots to smile about today and when thinking on 8 years ago! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

  4. I’m smiling about something I realized, literally, like two seconds ago. Today I blogged about “never giving up.” And I’m wearing a bracelet that says “never give up.” Totally unplanned. I love silly stuff like that.

Also still smiling about new car. 🙂

Hope you get to smile lots this weekend, Beth!

  5. I’m smiling because I get to participate in a bigger cause tonight! I (and all of my family) get to walk in Relay for Life for 12 hours to help support cancer research! 😀
Here’s to you: Ian, Pop Pop, Bud Vogt, John Middleton, Terry Kehr, Kelly Orr and SO many more!

  6. I love that quote! I have it on my Sunday school wall in the middle of a circle of children around the world. I plan to put the same one on my playroom wall.

I’m smiling because it’s Friday and it’s been a long week. Looking forward to relaxing.

  7. One thing I’m smiling about is Christa–love her happy smile. Also my 4-hr. college class went well last night, great feed-back, and 2 stalwart guys both strongly insisted on carrying my heavy book bag to the car. I had to choose (take turns, fellas), and that made me smile.

  8. I’m smiling because last week our lovely mama goat gave birth to darling triplets and at a week old they’re so stinkin’ cute!

And this weekend I get to spend another Father’s Day celebrating my husband with our children. Totally blessed!

  9. I’m smiling because it’s summertime in Minnesota! My girls are at their Nana’s house swimming and my boys are taking a nap…I’m going to go read more Kiss and Tell by Susan May Warren. By the way! I saw that she thanked you for all the editing work on K&T! That put a smile on my face – I thought: I know her! 🙂

    1. Gabrielle:
      Yay for summertime!
Enjoy Kiss and Tell — I am going to read through it too as I plot my next book.
      🙂

  10. I’m smiling about meeting with fellow writer Andrea Nell tomorrow morning for a “coffee-catch-up-writing-chat”. Should be fun! Then off to Tabor, SD for Czech Days and (mainly)kolaches!
    🙂

  11. I’m smiling because today was my last day of school, I am on summer vacation. I am also smiling because I have an interview on Monday with a school that is only 20 minutes from my home, as opposed to the hour drive one way I have been doing for the last five years. Even better, a position opened up in the community I live and my kids attend. I just handed in my resume today. Just waiting to see what God wants to do. I have a lot to smile about : )

  12. Hi Beth! I’m still smiling about last Sunday’s grace-filled day trip to Cincinnati to see and hold my newest granddaughter when she and her mom flew in from Salt Lake City.
