Merry Christmas and I’ll See You in the New Year

With only 9 days until Christmas — and 8 days until my youngest daughter’s birthday — it’s time for to step back from social media until the New Year.

My first blog of 2021 will be on Wednesday, January 6. The holidays have been disrupted by COVID, but I’m intentionally focusing on my family and friends — and even taking some time for myself.

May you find what you’re wishing for this season: hope, peace, joy … and contentment despite less-than-perfect circumstances.

I look forward to connecting with you in 2021.

  2. Hills a-shine in preadwn frost,
    wrapped in desert mystery,
little gained and so much lost
    in their recent history.
    Travellers on an open road
    guided by a western star
    feeling that bright anceint goad
that led them here, so very far
to find a peasant and his wife
    resting in a manger
to bring a new and fragile life
    into a land of danger.
    World waiting on a fulcrum
    for Emmanuel to come.

Best wishes to you and yours, Beth.

And here’s my very favourite Christmas song…

  3. Thanks for great posts all year, Beth. GLAD you’re taking time for Christa’s b’day, family times, and yourself. Managed natural resources are better renewable resources. You’re a treasure that matters. Looking forward to 2021 (I think). No, instead of “thinking,” I’d better pray πŸ™‚
